FTE PTO’s Biggest Fundraiser of the Year!

The Freezer Fun Run is both our PTO’s primary annual fundraiser and a fun school-wide event celebrating our students’ fundraising efforts! Money raised through the Freezer Fun Run helps the PTO provide school supplies, field trips, assemblies, special events, and other opportunities for FTE students throughout the year. On average, the PTO spends approximately $100 per student each year.

How the Fundraiser Works

Students are encouraged to collect monetary donations from family, friends, neighbors, and local businesses in support of the FTE PTO. Every donation—large or small—helps us continue funding programs and experiences for our students, teachers, and staff.

Our goal for the 2026 Freezer Fun Run is $20,000! We need the support of our entire FTE community to make it happen.

Students who raise at least $20 will receive $5 in Scholastic Bucks to spend at the Fall Book Fair. The classroom that raises the most money will also earn an ice cream party courtesy of Classic Cones!

Then We Celebrate with the Fun Run!

During the school day, every grade will have approximately 10 minutes to run or walk laps around the FTE playground. Other students, teachers, staff, and family members will cheer them on along the way.

Students will receive a colored wristband for every lap they complete, and it’s always exciting to see how many different colors they can collect!

Show Your Grade Spirit!

Each grade is encouraged to dress in its assigned color for the Freezer Fun Run on Thursday, October 8, 2026:

Kindergarten – Blue | 1st – Yellow | 2nd – Pink/Red | 3rd – Purple | 4th – Orange | 5th – Green

Ferguson Shirts

The PTO is selling Ferguson shirts that will be delivered before the Fun Run. The deadline to order is Friday, September 18.
