FTE CEEL Weekly

9/5/24

Good morning CEEL parents,

  • Congratulations to last weeks’ CEEL star winners, Marissa from 3rd grade, Clive from 2nd grade and Ada from Kindergarten

  • Registration for the October 3rd a la carte inservice day at Park Forest opens tomorrow, Friday September 6th at 10 a.m.  It will remain open until spaces fill or October 20th (whichever comes first).  You will use the same registration website that you used to register your child for CEEL.  At this time, the Park Forest location was the only location with space left as Easterly Parkway was already full.  If you need to enroll for that day, I encourage you to register for Park Forest.

  • Session 1 classes will start on Monday, September 16th from 3:45-4:45 p.m.  You will not need to sign up for classes this year since each student will attend all 4 classes throughout the week.

  • Please review the CEEL website and check out the CEEL calendar which lists important registration and closed dates.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Morgan

8/30/24

Good morning CEEL parents,

You will begin to receive weekly communication from me.  These communications will include any updates or reminders that I think you should be aware of.  I will also announce our CEEL STAR winners starting next week.  Students earn STAR stickers at CEEL for Showing kindness, Taking responsibility, Acting safely and being Ready to learn.  If they earn a STAR sticker, their name goes into a bin and then at the end of the week we draw a winner that gets to pick a prize.

  • Monday, September 2nd, there is no school and no CEEL.  Have a great Labor Day.

  • If you wish to opt your student OUT of watching PG movies specifically, please reply to this email by Wednesday, September 11th and let me know.  Regardless of your choice, students will always have the option to choose a different activity to participate in on movie days.

  • Hoop stars will be our first provider and will come the week of September 9th.  Red and yellow groups will participate on Monday 9/9 and Wednesday 9/11 from 3:45-4:45 p.m. and Green and Blue groups will participate on Tuesday 9/10 and Thursday 9/12 from 3:45-4:45 p.m.  Your student will know what color group they are in.

  • Thanks for everyone's patience with the new pick-up procedure this year.  There are instructions taped above the intercom.  If you are having trouble, we will come out and practice with you as we settle into this routine.  Please remember you should not text the CEEL phone this year with your arrival time.  Your child will start cleaning up and getting ready to leave once you arrive at the door.

Thanks everyone for a great start to our year,

Morgan
